In the bible God makes it clear that homosexual behaviour is a sin. Many verses in the old testament as well as new outline that. 

Leviticus 18:22-23 — You shall not lie with a male as with a woman. It is an abomination. Nor shall you mate with any animal, to defile yourself with it. Nor shall any woman stand before an animal to mate with it. It is perversion. (NKJV)

Leviticus 20:13 — If a man lies with a male as he lies with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination. They shall surely be put to death. Their blood shall be upon them. (NKJV)

 Romans 1:26-27 For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.  

Those are some of the verses that talk explicitly about homosexuality, and there are also others that talk about instances of homosexuality (ie. when they angels visited Lot and the men wanted to have sex with the other men - Genesis 19).

Notice I said that homosexual behaviour is a sin. As humans, we will always have temptations and lust. Being tempted is not a sin, giving in to that temptation is. 

Homosexual behaviour is a sin, homosexual tendencies are not-they are temptation. To lie is a sin, to feel tempted to lie is not. To steal is a sin, to be tempted to steal is not. As Christians, we’re called to lay down our desires before God.

All of us are called to forsake our old lives, and be new again in Christ. To live with Him, and to die with Him, whether that means physically or in other ways, when we become Christians that is what we choose. 

“And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.” (Galatians 5:24 ESV)

It is not just the homosexual man that has to forsake his desires if he wants to follow Christ, it is every single one of us. I don’t know why they are being singled out so much, and why everyone is making such a big deal out of homosexuality. It is a sin like any other - it separates people from Christ. That’s what sin does. In Christ we have the ability to come before Him and repent of our sin, and be forgiven, so we can enjoy a close union with God once again. 

I understand not all people are Christians, but I believe God’s Word to be truth, and Christianity to be the true religion. Many factors influence that decision, but that is another topic for another time :) Therefore, if He is truth, that means sin is sin, and He will come one day as the Great Judge that He is, and He will judge the world. He will bring those who are His home, and those who have decided to live their lives apart from Christ, following their own desires and living in the flesh instead of follow Christ’s commands and walking in the Spirit, they will be separated from Christ forever.
